The short version

FanThrill sends exactly one kind of text: a one-time invitation, sent only when an existing member asks us to invite a specific friend and confirms that friend has agreed to receive it. One message per number, ever. No marketing lists, no recurring texts.

How consent is collected

Invitations can only be started by a logged-in FanThrill member from the app's Invite by text screen. The member enters their friend's phone number and must tick a consent checkbox before the send button activates. The screen below is the exact in-app flow:

Send text invite

The send button stays disabled until the consent box is ticked. Consent is also enforced server-side — the API rejects any request without it.

The message the recipient receives

Exactly one message is sent. It identifies the inviter and FanThrill, links to the invitation, and carries opt-out instructions:

Program policies

A phone number can receive at most one invitation, ever — repeat sends to the same number are refused, no matter who requests them.
No further texts are sent unless the recipient creates a FanThrill account and separately opts in to SMS notifications.
STOP immediately opts a number out of any future FanThrill texts; HELP returns support information. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency: one message.
Phone numbers and consent records are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes (see our Privacy Policy).
